Switzerland
-The Swiss have the Salux, Val de Faller, Poschiaro, the Gottard Range, the Honduas Area as sources of Nephrite Jade. Poland-Herman Traube discovered the The Jordensmishl Nephrite Jade Deposit in 1885. Netherlands-The Usimaki deposits are the Netherlands’ primary source of Nephrite Jade. Italy-Deposits of Nephrite were discovered in the Appenine Mountains in 1906.

North America
The United States
-Alaska has several mines that produce Nephrite. Canada-British Columbia is considered to contain the largest deposits of Nephrite in the world. The finds here are producing the world’s hardest and finest grade Nephrite that nears Jadeite’s Imperial Jade in color.

The Jadeite Deposits in Myanmar, formerly called Burma were world famous. 

Europe
Italy-
A recent discovery in Piedmont in the Alps uncovered Jadeite. Russia-The Levo-Keichipern deposits in the Ural Mountains are Russia’s primary source of Jadeite

The Americas
Guatemala-
Guatemala has many Jadeite deposits of several different colors. United States-California and a few other states have Jadeite deposits.
