Usimaki deposits are the Netherlands’ primary source of Nephrite
Jade. Italy-Deposits of Nephrite were discovered in the Appenine
Mountains in 1906.

The United States-Alaska has several mines that produce Nephrite. Canada-British
Columbia is considered to contain the largest deposits of Nephrite in the
world. The finds here are producing the world’s hardest and finest grade
Nephrite that nears Jadeite’s Imperial Jade in color.
