Antwerp is the International Diamond Center District, the place to be for all diamond business. Antwerp, the most important diamond cutting center since the 13th century, is now considered the World Diamond Trading Center.

There are more than 20 Diamond Bourses worldwide. 2 Bourses in Israel , 2 in Johannesburg, 1 Club in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Milan, Idar-Oberstein, Paris, Vienna, London, Amsterdam, Singapore, Bangkok. They are all affiliated to the 4 major diamond bourses in Antwerp, called the World Federation of Diamond Bourses.

The diamond district is located near Central station, 30 minutes from Brussels airport. The Antwerp Diamond Center covers one square mile, housing 1500 diamond companies and 4 diamond bourses.
